Jensen Appointed Continuous Improvement Manager at Stowe MachineWindsor, Conn. – Kevin Jensen has been named Continuous Improvement Manager of Stowe Machine Co., Inc. (www.stowemachine.com), a subsidiary of Ladish Co., Inc. (www.ladishco.com). “Kevin brings a high level of expertise to his new role at Stowe,” says Paul Murphy, the company’s president. “He is already having a strong impact on our operating culture with his enthusiasm, ideas and experience with implementing best practices.” Prior to joining Stowe, Jensen was responsible for continuous improvement in the large assembly facility at Smiths Aerospace, in Manchester, Connecticut. Before that, he was responsible for fabrication-process development for exotic materials. Jensen is a graduate of Cheney Tech, located in Manchester, Conn., where he earned his certification as a tool and die maker in 1977. He is a member of the American Society for Quality and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt. In addition, Jensen has attended the lean training programs of numerous Original Equipment Manufacturers, such as Honeywell, General Electric Aircraft Engines, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Engines and Rolls-Royce. Jensen, his wife and daughter live in Tolland, Conn.
