Stowe Machine Launches New ERP System

Windsor, Conn. — Stowe Machine (www.stowemachine.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladish Co., Inc. (www.ladishco.com) (Nasdaq: LDSH), today announced that it has launched a plant-wide ERP system. “Stowe Machine’s commitment to continuous improvement has achieved another important milestone with the launch of our new ERP system, which now enables us to target a number of work-flow scheduling and cost-containment issues more comprehensively,” said John Delaney, Stowe’s President.

The ERP system installed at Stowe Machine is the same system used throughout Ladish’s domestic and international operations. “Having the same system in all our operations supports Ladish’s initiative to strengthen vertical integration among forging, casting and machining activities,” said Delaney. “The inclusion of a custom-designed quality control system—one that is completely integrated with the ERP system—increases efficiency and provides greater control throughout the entire manufacturing value stream.”
